We probably needed more from McCullum/Vettori/Franklin and with more wickets in hand we could have batted out for about 235 runs.
Things could have been brutal if McMillan wasn't given out! Can't really complain though considering what happened before!
The key for NZ is a good start. If Franklin bowls pies once again to Australia then its all over.

The fact is that you're getting worked up over the fact that a third-rate commentator didn't congratulate a batsman (who should've been out 50+ runs ago, mind you), even though he did mention that he played pretty well. It's not as if McMillan plays his innings just to get a pat on the back from Mark Taylor. Just get over it and shut up.

I can understand the frustration though. The number of times the Channel 9 team kept replaying the footage of him getting out really started to grate on my nerves. By the end of the innings it seemed like they were doing it everytime he hit a 4. Cameron White should have been given out lbw in the 2nd ODI, but I never saw them replay that footage once.
Still, too much has been made out of this. I'm looking forward to watching what should hopefully be a relatively close run chase.
