Hmm I'm not so sure, Collingwood and Flintoff have the chance to properly rein things in here and there are chances occurring so I'm not optimistic but it's not totally over.

It's definitely not "over", but NZ are very much in the box seat. England need a couple of wickets and some tight overs to the new batsmen to build some pressure, because NZ are just cruising at the moment.

edit: and a wicket, haha

Bizarre captaincy from Vaughan. We get a couple of decent overs from Fred and signs of Mahmood finding his line, so he takes them both off. We need wickets now Michael, not in 15 overs time when NZ are 150 for 0.

EDIT what I meant to say was that Monty is just the man to break through here but a few typos slipped in along the way.

Louis you muppet. Totally unneccessary. All he had to do was milk the bowling and force Vaughan to enforce the PP with both batsmen set. Poor stuff.

Finally england get a wicket and vincent fails for the first time in this series to score a 50. 2 meter peter comes in to bat.

Something special needed from freddie for england to even have any hope of winning this one.

Flem for the first time this season looking in some sort of touch, great player to watch when in full flow.

Why is England paying $3.40 to win?

Geeze England score 270, you would think they would have better odds.

Lou Vincent out sweeping, knew it was going to happen sometime. I can't understand the mentally of players using the sweep when it's safer to play straight and there are more options down the ground or working through mid-wicket or cover like Collingwood did.
