I m not watching the game live but this bugs me .... why doesn't Dhoni go for the kill and bowl Ishant & Chawla in tendum?
If OZ do manage to survive those overs then fair enough .... But if those guys manage to pick up a few then OZ will be playing the survival game and then Kumar, Pathan & part-timers can always finish it off

Hey all, long time reader, first time poster here. Before I get to the match at hand, I just want to let you know how much I enjoy reading these threads. I especially love everyone's comments in regards to Ian Healy's 'talent' as a commentator

When I turned on the TV today I had this strange feeling that India would take this match by four wickets. I'm going to have to see how these last few overs pan out to really get behind that instinct.
I'm pretty disappointed at Ch9 highlighting the whole off-field crap that's been going on. When they showed a little clip-reel of the 'Hayden/Harbhajan rivalry' I had to walk away. I just want to watch some cricket...

Reckon about 260 is par on this wicket. Hopes should bowl well on this wicket.

Nah, 260 would almost be a winning total on this track, its slowish and its also keeping low at times, so for a team batting second it won't be too easy to score.
