Haydo is racing towards a 50 .... Time to introduce spin

Pathan 2 overs for 29 runs :ranting:

sigh, the umpire was standing on top of the stumps, had a clear as day view, symonds was in bu about 2m and he still calls for the 3rd umpire.
You then get a stumping which looks extremely close, impossible to tell 100% with the naked eye, & the same umpire doesn't refer to the TV umpire.

Hayden might well have been stumped last over, the umpire chose not to call for the replay, but the recorded images show he could have been out. Looks a close thing,

Jeers for Harbhajan as he comes on to bowl don't often see that in international cricket. Remember Steve Waugh & Glenn Mcgrath getting it in West Indies at different times also Warnie in England but definately a rare occurace.

Harbi's been getting booed pretty strongly in every match since after Sydney. Interesting with the third umpire there, I probably wouldn't have called for it given that it didn't really look like a problem at first sight and the Indian appeal was fairly half hearted (iirc), but if you're going to go up to the third umpire for a runout which was in by an absolute mile, then why would you not go up for the stumping that wasn't half as obvious.

India definately could have appealed a little stronger especially Dhoni who you would think had the best view.

International Coach
17.2 Harbhajan Singh to Symonds, FOUR, short ball outside off and drives on the up with fast hands
"He's so still and sooo strong," marvels Mark Nicholas

Bhajji has been bowling crap so far. shouldn't hv been in the X1 in the first place, imo

let's hope he justifies his selection

Silly shot from Symonds, that type of stuff wasn't needed yet and we weren't totally out of the woods. Need a big score from Hussey here.

Bhajji gets Symmo .... 4 down for the OZ

May be Dhoni could hv prolonged the 3rd PP by a few overs and got the 2 spinners in .... sometimes, the batters r in the PP mode when the 3rd PP is still to be taken and may just hold out

Anyways, 1 more wkt in the next few overs and Ind would be on the top

Good time for Ind to bowl the overs quickly .... a new man is in and Haydo will slow down to get a 100

in b/w all this if Ind can get in a couple of wkt taking balls then there would be nothing like it

EDIT Bhajji picks up Haydo .... so he gets both of his 'friends' .... Ind on top here, need a few more of those wkt taking balls
