**Official Comm Bank Series - Aus, Ind & SL ODI's***

Why on earth is Watson, Australia's most dangerous batsman, having to accomodate 2 unproven newbies by batting at number 3. He has had so much success as an opener. As a SL fan im not complaining; Aus have handed us the advantage by opening with Warner and Wade, much like SL have given the opposition the advantage by opening with Tharanga.

Also it's getting really annoying how overrated Warner is in 50 overs. Fair enough if they want to persist with him for a bit more, but he should make way first if there are any tricky dilemmas and the commentators should stop talking as if he is a proven star.

Of the batsman Watson, both Hussey's and Clarke are undroppable and should be batting in their ideal positions, with the other players fitting around them. If this means Warner has to be dropped then so be it.

Breaking News: Sachin to hold press conference at 2pm, to announce his retirement from all forms of cricket

j/k he doesn't do press conferences

Nah, truth is, people haven't been supporting India because they've recently begun turning into the America of cricket. Nearly everything in cricket news seems to be Indian dominated, every cricket video on youtube has some Indian knob commentating on it, then the whole Sachin-mania. This by itself wasn't too bad, but then you combine that with the fact that they somehow became no 1 in tests despite having a non-existent bowling attack. Add the IPL, which to many is kinda anti-cricket, and then that period for about a year having to listen to Shastri and Gavaskar commentating during every Indian game. So, to a lot of people, their cricket has been unlikeable.

Thats the truth dude. Its not racism or anything like that. People don't hate Indians. But recently they do dislike Indian cricket. And its fun to root against them.

Don't worry, things will probably change soon enough. Shastri and Gavaskar seem slightly more humble than before, which to me makes it 10x easier to support your team.
Yeah, awta. Something along the lines of what I mentioned a few months back.

But no, I don't think it's going to change, and nor do I want it to. I love my team being rooted against and hated on. Makes winning even more enjoyable. I still remember reading reactions of fans venting their frustrations during and after the WC, made the win even more satisfying.

Because, as the saying goes, you don't like me? Have a seat with the rest of the bitches waiting for me to give a ****. ;)

Very true.

But to be more CW-Specific, the whole Bun and UDRS saga tipped non Indian fans over the edge. If I wasn't Indian I'd be hating on us too tbf.

Dicks posting on Youtube, Shastri and Gavaskar's commentary, Australia and Bangladesh deciding to have their own versions of the IPL and fans loving Sachin a little too much has nothing to do with how the Indian team have "conducted themselves" in the last 12 months.

All those things are genuine gripes about what comes with Indian cricket. But it is irrelevant to the team's actual behaviour, which has been very sporting despite their dumb **** opponents walking out of their crease or ignoring warnings to not be a **** and back-up half-way down the pitch.

I think the Indian team do over appeal (not alone in this), complain about decisions more than most as well has have douchey players who do douchebag things (Kohli et al).

Not to mention Tendulkar's media embargo. I mean wtf is that about? He needs to realise that he's not talking to reporters, but actually talking to the fans.

Good riddance Sachin, you've carried on like a such a good sort while you've been over here we are happy to see you finally go home.

Not one press conference, comment or hundred on the tour. Does he think he is bigger than the game?

Don't think they over appealed this summer, but then again they didn't hit much other than the middle of the bat.

Tendulkar's media embargo is a little weird tbh. Last two tours he's been given standing Os at every venue here, both to and from the crease. To not take time to simply thank the people who've come to see him is flat out bizarre, and not like the bloke who has done so in the past.
