People who're complaining about Dhoni appealing have obviously not seen Sangakara behind the stumps, dude's expression after almost every single appeal is "Whoa what just happened, how is that not out!"

Haha.. feel sorry for Dhoni, finally winning the toss only to bowl due to the circumstance, such a tease.

Anything over 250 and you'd think it's impossible for India to win with a bonus point. Hell they haven't been able to get too many scores over 200 in 50 overs, let alone chase down 250 in 40 overs.

Was GingerFurball mugged by an Indian in the past? I'm no fan of this cricket team myself but your criticisms are becoming a caricature now.

They're saying you're a ****, and should never be made captain of anything,

Yeah you're dead right.

Also they mentioned that Dhoni has captained like he's in India this summer, and they outlined the differences between the style of cricket in the sub continent (atrition) and Australia, where you work on more plans to dismiss batsmen.

Basically that Dhoni has been too defensive. He's been too pre-occupied by cutting off boundaries and letting the opposition get simple runs as long as they don't hit the boundaries. But the problem with that is they don't have the batting line up in form to chase down those 250 totals, whereas in the world cup they could let the opposition have they 250 total because their batsmen was in form.

Futhermore, Taylor pointed out that Dhoni is still captaining as if there was only one ball used in a one day innings, opposed to one from each end.

The two ball thing will have a bigger impact on the game than people think imo.
But every piece of commentary about it has said it is a huge change, and it is constantly being pointed out that lower scores are occurring as a result. It's not being underestimated.

Nah that's not the point. At the moment it will change totals, but I mean it will have a significant impact on how a team is selected and how teams go about chases.

I invisage that when teams cotton on to finding out the right team balance to handle the two balls scores will be very similar than what they were before the two balls were introduced, so that's irrelevant.
