could have run wider. could have slid the batPiss poor that. There was no way Tendulkar could have made the crease with Lee in his way.
Wasn't aware my post says he did it deliberately.Wasn't aware Lee had eyes in the back of his head.
The Test was fairly uncontroversial tbf.Crikey. What is it about India, Australia and the SCG?
Nah. That doesn't make sense. Lee cut in suddenly and Sachin couldn't have known he would.could have run wider. could have slid the bat
How is it piss poor then? It's bloody unlucky, though.Wasn't aware my post says he did it deliberately.
Yeah, it happens all the time in cricket. Most just run wider, as opposed to giving up.could have run wider. could have slid the bat
If anything Sachin ran into Lee. As the batsman you also have to expect the bowler follows through to some extent, either to the stumps or attempting to take the ball himself but aborting, and could well block your path accidentally. It's sucky but Sachin's more at fault than Lee. Now I thought at first Lee indeed cut in suddenly but he really hasn't. Sachin meanwhile has turned a bit into Lee and also just hasn't attempted to slide the batNah. That doesn't make sense. Lee cut in suddenly and Sachin couldn't have known he would.
He would have made it otherwise - or at least he would have had a chance. If Lee wasn't in the way it still would have been out.
