Group A: T&T vs East Robbham Upper Body
In their most complete performance of the tournament to date, Upper Body dented Trinidad and Tobago's unbeaten record with a comfortable 28-run win. Things started poorly after Nath Patrick chose to bat - Hughes (0) and Smith (4) back in the pavilion within the first 3 overs. But Shane Watson stood tall and played a series of a crunching pull shots on his way to 77. Joshua Ritchie and Bosco Fitzsimmons again chimed in in the middle order, with 40 and 42 respectively, and Upper Body reached an impressive 181-5.
Notably Dave Mohammed went wicketless for 46 runs against the team he helped to the Champions League.
The large total looked particularly intimidating as Liam Camps and Nath Patrick pegged back 3 quick wickets for 27. But like Watson before him, West Indies opener Adrian Barath played an attractive hand to keep hope alive. His 43 came from 26 balls, until he produced a thin edge to Fitzsimmons behind the stumps. Wickets tumbled as the required rate escalated, and T&T ultimately needed a 32-run stand for the last wicket to salvage their pride.
Upper Body 181-5 (20 overs)
SR Watson 77 (53), BC Fitzsimmons 42 (27), JJ Ritchie 40 (22)
R Rampaul 2-33 (4), DA Kearsley 1-37 (4)

Group B: West Robbham Rabid Wolves vs Otago
Underdogs Otago stunned West Robbham, chasing 180 to win with 7 balls to spare. Internationals Brendon McCullum and Aaron Redmond sparked the impressive chase with a quickfire 80 for the first wicket, within 7 overs. McCullum was bowled by Flintoff for 40 (25 balls), but Redmond batted on and battered the Rabid Wolves seamers. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes in 86 from 49 balls. By the time he was caught behind off Flintoff, 3 overs were left to score 18 runs. The potentially tricky chase was made easy by Greg Todd, as he lashed 3 consecutive fours off Flintoff.
The Rabid Wolves batted well earlier in the day, led by Dan Rai who atoned for consecutive ducks with a top score of 81. He hit 5 sixes and 2 fours and anchored a total of 179-6. In the closing stages the key batting came from Mørk, however, as he launched McSkimming into the stands twice on his way to 24 from 9 balls.

DK Rai 84 (57), NG Scott 34 (22), H Mørk 24* (9)
