Flat, non-spinning, non-bouncing O'Keefe-like "spin" bowling from what I've seen. They keep calling this guy Cook a leggie but is he actually? He doesn’t appear to actually be bowling wristspin, it’s basically a mixture of straight balls and slight offies (not wrong uns or sliders or flippers) just using his fingers?
He bowls inswingers with a leg spin action. He's a batsman in proper cricket. They keep calling this guy Cook a leggie but is he actually? I thought the same thing at first, and commented on it in this thread actually, but he does bowl primarily with a slight wrist spin action it seems. But he doesn't really put any spin on the ball, just bowls straight balls. I think he bowls some with an offie's action too though. Regardless he's just bowling slow straight **** and you'd expect he'll get figured outThey keep calling this guy Cook a leggie but is he actually? huh that's interestingHe's a batsman in proper cricket.

Speaking of which, Lance Dry was a man before his time. Could've been a pro cricketer afterall in this era. Maybe he'll come out of retirement. He bowls inswingers with a leg spin action. He's a batsman in proper cricket.
He's basically NSW country cricket's answer to Joe Denly.
He does seem to have pretty dramatically improved his bowling to be fair; he took a stack of wickets last season in first grade, and not all of them were in limited overs games (although I think still most of them were, lol). But my mates from the mid north coast where he played until about three seasons ago knew him as a batsman who did some accurate part-time bowling sometimes.huh that's interesting
Looks like he's really focusing on his bowling. Looking back at recent scorecards he seems to be playing as a bowler (batting no.8) in Future's leagueHe does seem to have pretty dramatically improved his bowling to be fair; he took a stack of wickets last season in first grade, and not all of them were in limited overs games (although I think still most of them were, lol). Yeah that's what he bowls.Well every single ball of Cook’s I’ve seen, while he initially looks like he’s bowling legspin, at the last second he just bowls it out of the front of the hand with essentially a medium pacer’s wrist action.
he's missed his run though. shane warne will actually watch these games and therefore won't pump him up like if he just heard about a leg spinner getting resultsYeah that's what he bowls.
Bowling slow medium pace may be effective if you do it to an excellent standard but no-one will ever take it seriously. Getting the exact same results with "leg spinner" next to your name will get people real excited though. It's a genius ploy really.
hey if it works in u13sYeah that's what he bowls.
