Interesting that they're taking the exact opposite approach to what they took with Cartwright and they're not showing any replays of the collision at all or close ups of the players at all. Whatever happened it must have been bad.
Yeah Sams looked like an AFL / NRL knockout. Not good.

After reading about the one between Lister and Dixit in NZ today I've been wondering when someone's going to get something really serious like a broken neck from a fielding collision. While I suppose to the risk isn't as high as in either of those sports the imperative on getting to the ball in T20s would, I think, make it somewhat more likely.

It'll happen. Dixit was very lucky to get away with it.

The Steve Waugh and Jason Gillespie one was pretty nasty and that was a test. Crowd noise probably increases the risk too as it drowns out the "mine" call.

I reckon he could consistently be above 145 if he sorted his run out, but I think I have to accept it's not going to happen.

I don't really care about all the ump's call, expect in cases like that because the umpire has almost certainly not given that out because they think it's pitched outside leg. but you can't really fix that I suppose

Hahaha that's the most out looking umpire's call I've ever seen
Nah, remember when for no reason whatsoever the margin was actually the centre of the stumps? I remember some 'not outs' that were crashing into them because of that. And to think bowling teams used to lose their review for an 'umpires call' like that.
