I actually think at this point it creates more run outs than it prevents, because batsmen see obvious singles, but then they remember that saying, they hesitate, and confusion reigns.

The BBL has never had the same quality production as the internationals, though Channel 10 were certainly better, but this summer's test coverage brought home just how good Channel 9 actually were at it.

Suspect it's inexperience tbh, though that's more an excuse for 7 (who run most BBL games I think) rather than Fox. C9's cameramen were on the job for decades, they'd naturally get a much better feel for the game.
