Smith has been ordinary in the actual IPL lately so not a huge surprise.
He really needs to open in T20s too and that's a popular position
Valiant effort by Tim David last night. Unfortunate that his teammates are useless.
Should have watched the game. He bullied the finger spinner bowling pies then failed against a real bowler when the game was there to win

Consecutive tons for Smith is a fantastic achievement, he's just monstering every bowler.

Edit There's the biggest of the night, his 9th six.

Now he knocks over Moises at the non strikers end.

Reckon the big bash has finally come back into its own element. Plenty of people going or watching that aren’t necessary normal fans

Thunder batting been so bad this year.

Smith’s knock was low key genius on that pitch. Playing a different game

Yeah definitely seems to have a real buzz about it this year that it didn't in the last few seasons

I don't know if this is complete bullshit but I feel like smith's hunger for runs has come back recently? Recall him being livid with himself after getting out vs SA after his 100 and in the bbl after his 100, and looked absolutely livid with himself that he didn't get more than a single on the last ball of the sixers last game despite already being 125 from 66*. Don't remember him looking that filthy for every single run missed a year or two years ago after the 2019 ashes.

That's a tremendous comeback from Brisbane after being in fairly deep trouble. Don't see partnerships of 133 too often in this format.
