strike management is so important in t20 and Eskinazi botched it. opening the batting, facing the first ball and he's faced less than 50% of the innings' deliveries
Really think the first team to really "get" strike management in T20 cricket is going to absolutely sweep. Such a huge potential benefit that everyone is straight up ignoring

How do you define strike management? In terms of giving certain people the most strike, even if you turn down runs to do so?

Particularly with matchups. Remember Warner made a comment to finch along the lines of "Give me strike vs this guy and I'll end the game" in a t20I recently and finch just said"yeal I'll hit him too." At this point finch was barely timing the ball and Warner had a much better matchup against the type of bowling.

Most obviously, when it's the 19th and 20th over of the game, start turning down singles when all it accomplishes is getting a hack tailender on strike when a set batsman is at the other end. Literally no one does this yet it's the most obvious thing in the world to me, particularly to start the 20th over.

OK, thought you meant earlier. Seen it done a little bit in chases, haven't we? Ben Stokes turning down runs in the 2019 World Cup final being a memorable one, and I seem to remember a sub-continent batsman being criticised for doing similar in what I want to say was an ODI, but could be wrong.

Think you can apply that to the entire bottom half of the innings, if a guy's striking at 6(7) with the partner on a hot streak then you should actively manipulate the strike regardless of their position in the order.

Whatever it takes!!!
Especially with the new rule about the new batter being on strike unless its the end of the over. I suppose it makes certain plays predictable though.

Unusually high number of play-and-misses by the Stars so far. Three in a row just now by Webster.
