Ok cheers for explaining. I understand matchups are a big thing but I didn't think that the guys out on the field would know/check exact specifics for individual battles.

Meanwhile the Gades are making 225 plus tonight, poor drop from Burns.

@Jedi - it was more the 7 balls thing that I was focusing on. I agree it wouldn't be hard to remember getting an Aussie rep out twice.

It's funny that Perera had that one terrible game and gets perennially blasted for it. Yet his tournament otherwise has been really good. Massively improved bowler in this format, but unfortunately one that will have the odd game where he looks village.

Perera's gotten away with a lot of slow half-trackers that probably should have been put away but haven't because the batsmen keep expecting him to finally bowl a quicker one

Cutting's got some common sense at least
