when t20 first started I remember a big talking point being how quick it was, no time wasting, how the innings had to be over by 90 minutes, which led to stuff like the batting dug out, so it's in keeping with the history of the format, they've always been a part of it. bmac changing the field every ball is obviously gonna fly in the face of that.

i think most over rate rules are rubbish, and suspensions are always rubbish, but i'd say t20 is actually the format where they're most relevant. I'd favour as close to real time penalties as possible, so penalty runs etc if you're behind the mark at the 10th over, etc. but that's probably impossible

think I've picked on Boyce before, but dead set, that's the worst piece of fielding you'll see. worse than some of the dolly catches
