Lynn's 6-hitting proficiency prevented the ton. If either of those 6s in the last over went for 4 then the game continues and he can hit a 4 or 6 to get the hundred.

I've seen most of Gayle's most devastating T20 knocks & he's been out of his own, but I feel Lynn is the best sustained hitter I've ever seen. Actually reminds me of a Lance Cairns who could actually bat.
Can genuinely get away with only half hitting it for it to clear the rope, a three-quarter hit he sends it 110 meters & if he nails it.. 120-130- who knows.
It's laughable this guy isn't playing in every white ball form. I'd have him as a specialist 5-6 in ODIs, even without him bowling. Make up for that somewhere else, purely on the off chance he comes off in the last 10-15 overs.

Having said that, he is an infinitely better batsman than someone like Finch and waaaayyy more destructive

Averages 45, which is better than Khawaja and Handscomb for those playing at home. Hopefully he starts next season on time. And hopefully he gets a crack in the ODI side for the next couple of series (regardless of his ODD record not being stellar).

Lynn does not look as dominate in 50 over cricket, I would say it is worst format as he is mean at French cricket too. In saying that, he still does deserve a shot as it is clear a 50 ball knock from him can be game changing.
For T20s I think you have to bat him at 3 even when we are full strength. Smith 4, Maxwell 5 would be devastating behind him too.
BTW, is anyone in a bbl fantasy comp? I'm around 60-70th overall from over 50 thousand. Made a few annoying decisions like naming bravo capt in a gades double game week, only for him to get injured in the first game and going Wildermuth last week instead of my second option Christian, but it has been good fun. Most people I guess don't look into the byes/double games which make a massive difference.
