Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
After years of Big Bash coverage I can honestly say there's nothing like a Channel 10 commentator say "THAT MAN" over and over.

Joy and so many other feelings come to mind.

Warner is smarter than he comes across as. Sure he may not top any IQ tests, but I read somewhere that he has a lot of successful investments outside cricket. At least he knows how to delegate stuff and manage it.

I read somewhere the lower your IQ the more likely you are to question someone elses intelligence. :)

Hurricanes are decent value being outsiders at home tonight as I think the team looks better now with the inclusion of Webster.

There will be extra responsibility on Christian's bowling, who I think is capable enough. Jake Lehmann dropped for the Strikers after a poor start to the tournament.
Capable indeed.

Can someone explain how Chris Jordan has now played in the IPL and BBL.

The guy is an absolute pie chucker.

Isn't he a good 'Yorker' death bowler? He was in the last Twenty20 World Cup as I recall.
Yeah that's his schtick and death bowling is a rare enough skill for teams to be interested in him, particularly given he's a good lower order hitter and an awesome fielder.

I don't really remember from the world cup, but his super over in one of the matches when we were touring the UAE in 2015 was awesome.

I do think there's a general perception of him being a better T20 bowler than he actually is. I mean, he's certainly not the worst ever, but I wouldn't say he's particularly special either. Better than many of the others going around in the BBL from what I've seen though, tbf. Can't comment on the IPL.

His fielding is legitimately great, though, and may make him seem a more attractive proposition, though I can't imagine it consistently making a massive difference to the outcome of a game.

Edit: Sniped by PEWS' more succinct and generally better answer.

Was going to pick Christian for my fantasy side, but he didn't even bowl in their last game.

C'monnnnnnn mannnnnnnnnnnnn

Haha yeah that was his fourth game of the season and the first in which he bowled. They'll probably be regretting not bowling him earlier now...

Yet has economy rate of over 8 for every team he's ever played for.

That super over in the UAE saved his career. A bit of a myth that he's a good death bowler, does it once in a blue moon.

But he rarely bowls well at death. He bowls the odd class over and then he's labelled a good death bowler. He gets spanked to all parts most of the time.

His batting is a myth. But he's an insane fielder. He seems to get picked on the off chance he does well in one of those things.
