I think it's harsh on Sodhi if he doesn't make it ... all our bowlers were flailed to all parts vs India and he was one of the more economical in a few of the games. Then he's out and Astle comes in to look a million dollars against Bangladesh.

And took wickets. Our genuine bowlers also had varying degrees of success. Youre insane if you dont see the value of 10 half decent bowlers that could bat 6-7 instead of a slightly better bowler that bats 9. Stacking the bowling with Tastles and Sodhis isnt ever going to work

taking the wicket of a #8 against bangladesh 6/190 isn't the standard by which i judge my 5th bowler sorry. i realise wellington fans have lower expectations from their players and you're infatuated with #8s but they're not really that important. bangladesh bat deep here and they still suck because real bowlers dealt with their top 6.
you're insane if you think bowling neesham, cdg and munro at the world cup isn't going to bite us in the arse big time.
