Cannot believe the field placement for Kaitano. I missed most of his innings but tuned in to see one close fielder for a guy scoring at a single digit strike rate. Crowd him out ffs; short cover, short leg, leg slip etc.

Anyway, he's gone now.

This pitch looks very very flat. Zimbabwe have a pretty good chance of surviving with Bangladesh having just two likely threats.

An over from Ebadot there might be the worst I've ever seen in test cricket. Bowling at a number 10 and number 8, 5 balls well outside leg stump and the other a waist high full toss outside off...

Taylor had scored 92 of the 110 when he got out. Strange knock. 130 overs is not impossible to play out.

It's hard to know. Taylor averages 60-odd against Bangladesh and 24 against everyone else. Because he only ever seems to play Bangladesh, it may be he's actually really good but we'll never know, or it may be the 24 is the truer number...

steve smith would probably average 24 against all non bangladesh countries too if he only ever played one test every three years, and didn't get paid enough to devote extensive time to improvements tbh

Mithun has played pretty much all his innings of any sort of substance on fast, green pitches like this. This might be a rare occasion where he's a good selection.

Also I'm not sure why the stream link above is supposedly not operational in Australia?? This one's from the Deshi channel Rabbithole, which I'm watching.
