Batting is a disappointment, but I still think he is arguably world's 2nd best off-spinner now. He'll be better with experience, e.g. with a few more matches under his belt he won't commit the mistake that he did today. Good-length on this slow pitch is like short. Fuller-than-good length is the real good length here.

Starting signs of rough patches beginning to form outside the right hander's leg stump in a full length. This pitch will turn from day 4, I think. Should be able to bowl them out twice.

This used to be the norm when we had Sehwag in form at home a few years back.

I feel for all the Badrinaths and Muzumdars in domestic circuit now. This middle order of Pujara-Kohli-Rahane is set in stone for the next 5 years and with Karun and Rohit in frame, there is absolutely no chance for anyone else.
