Doubt it on both counts. The only guys who will come in will be Pup and Moey, and even with those two in I don't think our batting has shown anything like the consistency to be playing for a draw in a 5 dayer. Clarke will come in for one of the bats - probably Rohrer or Patterson seeing as we don't have any opening options outside of Maddo in the squad. Henriques then will come in for Dougeh! Outside chance of Copes replacing Abbott, but I think they showed their hand last week and Copes will be pouring the cordials. It will be:

Carters
Maddinson
Clarke
Smith
Rohrer/Patterson
Henriques
Nevill
Abbott/Copeland
O'Keefe
Lyon
Hazelwood.

Should be strong enough to get it done, but I would feel a lot better with another genuine new ball bowler. Batting looks so much stronger with Nev at 7, but even then I can see us getting rolled in the 200s rather than say a nice 500+. We'll need 20 wickets and hope North and Voges don't get back their early season form.

That's ****ed for the Bluebaggers. Fingers crossed MadDog, Rohrer and Patterson can find some form with the stick for the big one.

You guys all seem pretty optimistic on the "won't be starting the tail at seven this week" front. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the team ended up:

These are the NSW selectors we're talking about. Henriques only even counts as a bowler if he's injured and needs to be replaced.

Never got around to replying to this. Yeah, was picking him as a specialist bat with the overs going to noted bowling all rounder Aaron Finch.
