How does Mitch Marsh make the squad and Lynn doesn't? Very weird.
Disappointing that Josh Hazlewood got misdiagnosed and isn't available for this tour. If Clint McKay was fit, I wonder if he would have made it because I think he is dropping down the list.
Quite interseting that players like Xavier Doherty and Jason Krejza weren't taken considering the fact that they have taken 4 spinners. Lots of questions to be answered because where does Hauritz stand and is Beer the best test spin-bowler for Australia after coming from nowhere and playing the last test match. The selectors have been poor where spin selection has been concerned.
Also quite surprised John Hastings and Daniel Chrisitan didn't make it if they are on the edge of the Australia squad in ODI cricket and in Hastings case in it, but hasn't exactly cemented a spot. Because a lot of the players like Hughes, Warner, Khawaja, S. Marsh, Paine and Ferguson who fall into 'Hasting's' category are there. So Hastings is a short-term selection policy because you cannot say he isn't there because he is in the WC squad because S. Smith, Paine and Ferguson are there as well.
