Cricketer Of The Year
Bird wouldn't get no-balled, it's pretty much impossible to get called for throwing these days. I'm sure he'd get "reported" though, and a few months later he'd do "corrective work". Anyway, bowling pretty well of late. Could maybe be a shot at the ODI team one day in the future, though his action should hold him back, since it's diabolical.

Good hitting from Quiney tonight. Victoria should win this.
That and he's too expensive for international cricket.

This to bite NZ in the ass.

Roy just said on the radio McCullam is a wa*ker, I mean Walker

Vics in the box seat
I know that they're being funny, but I don't get why McCullum's being seen as the bad guy here. Did he ring them up and say "hey, can I play for you guys?"

And can you seriously expect him to turn down an opportunity to get some time in the middle (not much, as it turned out) in Australian conditions ahead of the ODI series and a possible chance of playing at the Champions League so whoever he was going to replace could play? Not many people in his position would have said no, IMO.

Yeah because he's been so crap up to this point. Rubbish post, even if it is a joke.
