He's had a seriously good match here - a pair of 30s, a 5 for in the 1st dig, now another wicket. Good on him.

Still no match for the might of WA.

Good to see the top order boys in the runs, especially Davis.

Probably down in the pecking order a bit. Australia's current fast bowling depth reminds me of the batting depth we had in the 90's. You could genuinely see Noffke, Bollinger, Magoffin, Bracken, Tait, Hilfenhaus, and maybe even Siddle in many of the international teams. Just a shame our spin depth is so poor.

Pretty happy with the Blues performance. Just didn't have enough fire power in the end with bat or bowl. Don't think Mosies or Stevie are good enough yet to basically play as specialist batsmen. Guys like Roher, Warner, Henry and Cowan are still better IMO. Was worth the try, if we had more senior players around them.

Anyone else lol that Dan Doran who batted number 11 didn't bowl a ball in this last match.

At least [for his sake] he made more runs then Broad and Love I suppose.

It stop being funny about a season and a half ago. Now it just a complete joke.

Interesting to note that he stopped being used as bowler once Hauritz moved to NSW and Queensland had no other specialist spinners to call on. The next best spinners (from what it seems) are all batting all rounders in Symonds, Simpson and Le Roux.

I wonder if Queensland had another specialist spinner near FC standard whether he would get a bowl, to justify his selection. It just seems he gets selected cus there is no one else.

Moises is a better batsman than anyone in that NSW 2nd XI team. He will really come into his own in the next 2 seasons with both bat and ball.

Yeah I've heard he's meant to be good.

I have no idea why they wouldn't pick him, Doran is a massive waste of a first class spot IMO.

Nah, DWTA strongly. I can see the logic in giving him experience to some degree even if he isn't going to bowl, but he's not better than Khawaja, Cowan or Ben Rohrer as a batsman alone AFAIC.
