White and Dussey would be back in the squad for the Vics for the final, right? In that case Bushrangers would be pretty hard to beat, the only issue for them is regarding the fitness of Harwood and Nannes, who are their strike-bowlers.

Symonds too is likely to be back for the Bulls for the finals, which would give their side a boost too, in all should be an interesting game, and like the commentators were saying during yesterday's game, i too think the Queensland's attack is much better suited for conditions at the "G" as compared to the Gabba, so they should feel too bad on missing out on playing in a home final.

MCG unlikely to host Shield final

Well that changes things a bit imo...

Droppers injured and so is Edmondson I believe. You could give Heal, Simmons and Coetzee decent run and not be able to field a balanced XI. The issue for WA is more to do with balance then quality. There are some talent but there no in the right areas.
Okay... but still whatever it is, WA have been woeful this season, and if the same trend continues, in terms of them not being able to put up a decent side together, then can't see them turning things around in the next season either.

Admittedly, has had a few niggles this year. Just got himself right over the past few weeks. Mind you, probably still doesn't get a game in our full strength side.

Just came across this... very funny installment of Geeves's blog about being out on 99* again. Better than the first one even!
Haha, awesome stuff from Geeves, he has written stuff in his blog in jest, but still he won't be a haapy chappy being stranded on 99* twice now, because of MacDonald, also loved the bit where he talks about his former IPL franchise, "You owe us cash… and you’re fired!! Ha - Take that!!"

According to the adelaide(murdoch) paper mark cosgrove could be a cane toad next year.
A fresh start is what he needs.

I don't think he's a particularily good player but he's done well enough at the top against good domestic attacks to be considered imo.
I don't think any of those attacks tbh where as good or in form as this attack. Some decent ones there, no doubt though. Though the fact that you can only find a handful shows how hit and miss he really is.

Queensland struggling here, they need a big score against this batting line up.

In all seriousness, Brett Geeves needs to get into some sort of writing once he finishes playing. I'm laughing my **** off at his blog and you can see how much better his writing has gotten since he started too.
