***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2005/06 thread

Good match in the end. For me :D

Buchanan looks OK, a few things he needs to work on but all in all a great performance. Crosthwaite needs to be given a chance higher in the lineup, perhaps 4 or 5. Can't bat him down at 7 all the time the poor bloke will never make runs!!

Good to see Warney as captain, too.

Warney was exceptional as captain, I think his captaincy was the difference in the end.

Interesting to read today brendon drew will make his debut for tassie today, testament of NSW's depth players have to move to make it elsewhere, altho tassie lacks critical depth.Apparently he only moved there 2 weeks ago,tim paine made his debut today making a low score.

I think Birt is a promising prospect and if he can get some more big scores this season his confidence may grow. Bailey on the otherhand is very confient at the moment, I think that is two centuries o the trot.

Paine looked pretty good from what I saw in the ING match. The pull shot was top shelf.

didn't look to confident as soon as the spinner came on though unfortunatley

Santa hasn't been kind to the Qld Bulls in their Pura Cup match against WA, beginning today. Jimmy Maher and Mitchell Johnson are both out. I really think Qld's Domestic empire is in danger of crumbling this season. It had to happen eventually. Even in the glory years, our batting has been somewhat limp. It's really been our bowlers - Kasprowicz, Bichel and Dawes - who have kept us afloat. And, with the effluxion of time, it's inevitable that these guys will be slightly less effective.
