Lambert is a good player, has been unlucky not to play more over the last few years. perhaps not taken full advantage of when he has been picked.
Im not saying his not a good player, but i would rather one of these young 20 yo, who plays similar role to get a game infront of him. It would have been good if someone like Packman was given another chance, or Jarrad Burke or Chris Simmons given a game.

Amazingly enough, Victoria look like they might win after following on.

Tasmania are 9-102, so time must be the only factor

Good win there by the Vics, but i think it also shows that the lack of experience might hurt Tassie through the season, when the matches are there to be won. They really needed a experienced player like Marsh or Bevo to guide them through at the end.

Pretty good performance by NSW aganist WA today, good to see O'Brien finding his feet at FC class level. Also the selection of Lambert might have been a master stroke, his addition seam option could come in very handy at the WACA, if MacGill is ineffective.

wa will finish last in pura cup and ing cup
I hope so, theyre just ****ing me off now. I thought our batting attack was our strength. That headline on the back of the paper was fitting I thought - "Cant bat, cant bowl".

150 for "Buck" Rogers, he's holding us together.. 6/344

Interesting to note, MacGill bowled one over in the first innings and 26 in the second (2 wickets). I guess thats due to the fact that we crumbled pretty quickly in the first, but still, strange.

Victoria - Official champions of the reverse outright!!

Denton, Harwood and Lewis just ripped through Tassie. Well done, fellas.

Lehmann trying to make a game of it by declaring overnight at 3/89, handing the Bulls first innings points.

Now, SA have to get 353 to win in 2 and a half sessions after the Bulls declared at 5/99....Gillespie ripping through their top order with 3 wickets.

Redbacks scrape in for a draw......good effort, but when Lehmann was out, it all fell away!

Looks like both Johnson and Gillespie bowled well in the Queensland vs South Australia game. Bodes well for Australain cricket.

that's two of queensland's pura cup games (and potential/likely wins) screwed by the rain. doesn't seem to be our season unfortunately. terrific sportsmanship by maher and lehmann though to make a game of it. the two captains most likely to do such a thing.

symonds showed what a great player he is with the 163 :)
