On the 2016 Aus tour to SL they were completely open about it, they even took it a step further and prepared a green top for Aus's only tour game and didn't play a specialist spinner in the side to give the home side every chance of winning.

O'Keefe took a 10fer and SL played two spinners in Jayasuriya and Chaturanga. I didn't follow the game like you apparently did, but that seems like a strange scorecard for a supposed greentop. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt so I'll apologize if this isn't the game you're thinking of. It actually seems like SL gave Australia a very good primer of what to expect in the tests.

Yeah... but he has also bowled magnificently at times without luck. That happened in England a bit in the recent series. But not at his best last 18 months.
