*Official* Australia vs South Africa -2022/3

Bahseph

International Debutant
It's just occurred to me that Harmer has played as a second spinner for SA in England,Australia and twice at home. Don't think that's happened before since 1992. He did run through Bangladesh with Maharaj but there are two spin bowling all-rounders (Linde and Muthusamy) back in SA who would have actually aided the balance of the side more than him. I'm just convinced Elgar is no good at this captaincy and selection thing.

Cricketer Of The Year
he’s probably the best non-subcontinent spinner going around at present by my count
I disagreed with your assertion of Maharaj being better than Lyon before the series, but to still try to claim that looking at their respective performances this series is utterly insane

For the record I do believe Keshav is a better bowler than what he has displayed this series, but best current non subcontinental spinner he isn't

Hurry up Usman. They could be going off any moment here.
It'll be incredibly ironic if Cummings declared right now with Khawaja unbeaten on 194 because some years back that's EXACTLY what Dravid did to Tendulkar in Pakistan when he was on 194*

The look on Tendulkar's face when he was called in without any notice whatsoever was priceless.

“visiting offie comes to australia and gets massacred” doesn’t move the needle really for me unless we’re testing their atg chops

mind u on careers you’d have to take lyon one hundred days out of ninety nine, but over the last three or four years if you asked me to pick a team of non subcont cricketers, unless it was for playing in australia i would take kesh
