Yeah AWTA, wasn't much in it.Very sensible refereeing, a quiet word rather than a big song and dance and official warnings etc.

Indian batting + Pakistani bowling = 3/4 of Aus 99-07The Pakistan Batting is pretty ordinary.
Their bowling though is amongst the best in the world at the moment.
If they had India's batting or If India had their bowling the combination would be unbeatable.
Though it has been a similar case now fro more than a decade,
Disagree.Indian batting + Pakistani bowling = 3/4 of Aus 99-07
Tbf Waqar was finished by then and Akram was average, still would have tipped Pak-India to take it with comfort at home and with some difficulty away.Disagree.
India came close twice to beating Australia in Australia in the period you mentioned.
Once with Agarkar as their star bowler and once with RP,Pathan and very young Ishant Sharma.
Now Imagine the same team with Akram,Akthar,Younis,Asif etc....
even my grandma can clean this lot up blind folded.Aussies looking solid, but these conditions look quite good for batting. Bollinger perhaps a bit short and Johnson not finding much movement or pace - looks like Pakistan could form a big lead if they string a couple partnerships together. Top bowling from Hilfenhaus though, he really would have cleaned up if he'd bowled on the first day, imo.
Awta, hoping for two more to fall, just to see Akmal jr. bat.Who are all these random Pakistani batsmen?
I remind you that in neither of the series you're talking about was McGrath/Warne playing...Disagree.

Westindies 70's -80's says hi.Well look here tbh Indian batting and Pakistani bowling are a bit over rated. India still have batting collapses away from home and Pakistani bowlers are very inconsistent.
Australia had a golden team between 99-07. The whole line-up is filled with legends/greats, I don't think there will be a team ever as strong as that.
The Invincibles(Bradman's farewell Ashes team) were without a doubt better, The WI of the late 70s and 80s are arguably better.Well look here tbh Indian batting and Pakistani bowling are a bit over rated. India still have batting collapses away from home and Pakistani bowlers are very inconsistent.

Disagree, there were more good bowlers around in the late 70's and 80's and West Indies were just as dominant worldwide as Australia were.Completely disagree.
1st apart from Bradman himself, most Aussies of 99-07 are better. 2ndly West Indies dominated in a time where cricket wasn't as competitive as they are today. This Australian team dominated teams in lots of different conditions.
I really can't see how you can.Disagree, there were more good bowlers around in the late 70's and 80's and West Indies were just as dominant worldwide as Australia were.
Windies will always be the top side i have seen ahead of the Aussies from the noughties.
