*Official* Australia v England post-Ashes ODI series

I asked it after the 1st ODI and ask it again now: why is Cummins an automatic pick for the ODI side? His overall record is hardly impressive and while he bowled well early on as he showed in the closing overs he just doesn't have the smarts to be a consistently successful ODI bowler.

Fantastic effort by England to reach 300 considering Australia for the most part bowled very well with their 1st choice bowling attack and their ground fielding was excellent. Most sides would've wilted under the increased intensity Australia brought but instead in the final 10 overs the opposite occurred because of the talent and self-belief this England side have.

One thing we can assured of is Australia getting a serious fine for their over rates there; reckon they were close to 30 minutes overtime and it wasn't like there was a massive amount of delays today (apart from the self-inflicted plethora of wides).

I'd think Plunkett being injured helps us, but considering the way we played Root last time maybe not.

My tolerance for commentators is usually pretty high, but my goodness, Kevin Pietersen is the most irritating man on earth.

Smith defends a ball, and he shouts "WHERE IS THE INTENSITY, STEVE SMITH?"

The one thing both sets of supporters have been agreed on ever since England arrived in Australia

Finch is having a hell of a series. Every century he makes tends to be a 105(115) type innings, looks like he's doing better this time.
