Speaking of basketball I looked up how the NBA handled the Kobe Bryant case. That ultimately didn't make it to trial in part due to some disgraceful tactics by his lawyer outing the accuser. Couldn't see any official NBA position but Bryant did issue an apology that Kuggleleign could potentially have used after the trial. That would have been consistent with the text apology he sent at the time. The apology perhaps have also been tied in with the message NZCPA emphasised after his case.To quote the great Charles Barkley “I’m not a role model… Just because I can dunk a basketball doesn’t mean I should raise your kids”
