Damn.. these two have taken Australia to relative comfort. Thought we were in business when the 7th wicket went down. This might be a good score on this pitch.
Still think they’re 40-50 short.

India ought to chase whatever Australia get from here though. Or they may just as well book early flights back from England.

Yeah, I think Jadhav is justifying his place in middle order. It's Rayudu and Dhoni who are not proving their worth.

Stoinis played the ultimate Stoinis innings there.

A magnificent straight drive off the paceman and a superb straight six off the spin are surrounded by him endlessly blocking deliveries off the pace with no seeming intent of even a single. End result is doesn't get close to a run a ball and the tailendeds are the ones who have to provide the momentum he's supposed to.

Bumrah’s most expensive over ever apparently. Pretty unlucky though with the edge and that ricochet.

@ Those who saw the game -- why did Kuldeep get punished so bad today and what did Jadeja do right?

Didn't watch but I've had a list of complaints against him for a while. Drags it down far too often, and doesn't really have enough variations outside the two stock balls. Didn't think I'd catch myself saying this but he could also stand to flatten his trajectory every now and then.

For a change, Jadeja tried to play the middle ground between Jadeja trajectory and Kuldeep trajectory. Finch dismissal was a gem, pitched middle hit off.

Kuldeep was bowling his normal trajectory. If the batsmen line him up, he would be expensive. Turner dismissal was classical Kuldeep. Flighted it, induced a lofted hit on the on side, Jadeja catching it on the boundary.

Is it just about modern cricketers, the restless energy inducing futile attempts at running the batsmen out even while they are well in the crease, thereby conceding overthrows ? Saw a lot today.

Are Australian ODI skeptics still going to dismiss this series win in India after trailing 0-2? It seems a monumental achievement all things considered.
