Well, the stats have my back. Not that I dare think about the day, but when Bracken's ODI Career ends, it will most likely to have been after a decline of some sort.
Good to see a fellow Bracken fan on these boards, although I merely enjoy his bowling than almost worship him as you do. He will no doubt decline, I'd be interested to see if he can still generate the pace he does from such a high front leg in about five or six years time.

Wattoooooooooo!!!

So awesome. Saw every ball. Was going to post when he brought 50 up but I didn't want to jinx him. Wise decision so it seems.

Gunnest day.

Must be close to test selection again - I personally rate him above both Clarke and Symonds but wont replace them in the near term

Developing into a truly world class player

Disappointed with the Watson celebtation upon reaching his 100 tbh.Was expecting, at the very least, a victory lap and a climb, Pat Cash-like, into the paviillion to hug each team mate.

Sad to say but Shaun Marsh looks about as good as his fc average would tend to indicate - not very
Haha, so harsh. Did you see the first ODI by any chance?

I don't really support his selection at the moment for a few reasons but the man can bat and if there's one thing he's always managed to do, it's look good. He made some strides last season and I'd love to see him build on that for WA for another year before thrusting him into international cricket on a more permanent basis, but he has a sound technique and a fine array of shots.

I would have had Jaques in his place for this tour tbph, but he's certainly a talented bat who I expect a lot from.

Great innings to watch there from Watto... so much fun :)

Thought he was going to get out every ball for the first 15, could hardly watch! Looked unstoppable once he got going.

Just how do you fit Watson in the test side?? Do we just admit we have no spinner and put him in the team as the fourth/fifth bowler. And I still think that when he makes the Aussie test team he has got to bat above Symonds, if their both in the team.

You don't fit Watson into the side, you fit the side into Watson - damn it. While you're at it, might as well fit some hamstrings into him too:)

Watto you deadset legend. What an innings, what a man, what an Australian, get him up here. Great to see Ponting regain some touch too. And Ronchi was fine behind the stumps from all reports. Excellent.

Great series victory, very comprehensive. There may be question marks over our Test side, but our ODI side is going to be very hard to stop.

Bracken for the India tour.

Watson tons up :) Career defining innings that could well be, has he cemented a spot in the team?
Bowled real well too, got some away swing on a dead wicket

3-0 up, we are back as #1
Pretty happy atm

Weird how everyone thought the tests would be a walk in the park for Aussies but the ODI's would be a challenge but its proven to be the other way round
and after the CB Series i was rather worried with our OD form, admittedly this is Windies, they are a decentish ODI team... although they haven't been at their best

Ronchis glovework was very solid, surprised me, he isn't known for his glovework
WD Lee fastest man to 300 ODI wickets

Don't lik e Watson opening tbh. Failed for Qwensland and another duck for Australia. He's a no.4 batsman for mine. Dunno whoy wshould open then. Maybe Hopes or Haddin. Wonder if Jaquwes will ever make a ODI career. Donm't see why not. Would do better opening hthat Watto, as muich as ilove him. Wish Watto the best but he shouldn't be opneing.
There is definitely a place for Watson in the Australian ODI team but I still think he'll score twice as many ducks as he will centuries at the top of the order.

In the Ford Ranger Cup last season his opening stint yielded scores of 28, 70 and 2 while in the Pura Cup his opening record featured scores of 0, 0, 0, 15, 13 and 0

Having said all that, kudos to him for a fine knock.
