Is this going to be a first-class match, or one of those nonsensical '13 bat, 14 field' type affairs?

Nash is out of the country AFAIK.

Jamaica 86-2 at least check. Parchment out for 25, Jackson out for 29. Xavier Marshall on 26. Clark and Johnson a wicket each.

Thanks for the update as I've searched the web without finding anything.

News reports indicate that both Katich and Noffke would play, so does that mean Lee has been rested (as you mention Clark & Johnson have taken wkts)?

CaribbeanCricket.com gives small updates in a box in the top right hand corner.

128-5. Ingram out for 10.

Clark/Johnson 1, MacGill 2.

Sinclair 2*
Baugh 0*

Baugh hasn't scored runs in about 2 years. Let's see if he can repeat what he did against Australia a few years back.

So I guess that stops the discussion on whether Noffke would play the 1st test :(

Is Hayden injured? If not, I assume Hodge would open in this game so that Katich can settle into # 5

Amazing. Baugh 103*. Literally done NOTHING for Jamaica for the last couple of seasons, and then suddenly he remembers how to bat when the Aussies are about.

283-8. Wallace on 21.

how dire is the coverage..cricinfo
but the caribbeancricket.com site is working, thanks for that

297 all out

our bowlers once again struggling to dismiss the tail - this is a concern... god, just wipe em out like Steyn

Fraz

Baugh ..is he of contention for the test? Ramdin has done **** all recently, but his knock in Bellerive sticks out..even though it was a few years ago

Ramdin's been 'keeping pretty solidly of late. He's a superior gloveman to Baugh. And as I said before, Baugh has literally done nothing at domestic level for two years now. Just 2 fifties in 31 innings in the past 3 seasons. Average of 17.44 in those 18 games.

And in this game he was dropped on 7 (by Haddin). It would be a terrible decision to replace Ramdin with him.

Australia will score big runs pretty quickly against one of the most inexperienced bowling attacks they will ever face in a tour game.
