Holy **** that was McGrathesque. The manner of dismissals, the bounce, the bristle, he's so similar it's ridiculous.

I think MJ still starts the 1st Ashes test but if he's not back to his best Starc will come in pretty quickly.

Holder, so good. Not just as a cricketer (hes gun). Seems to play with so much passion for his country, really impressive fella

How many downhill runs does Darsh need to displace Voges? Hopefully the selectors know better.

Everyone knows what's coming, right? Darsh scores a soft ton against a moribund WI bowling attack, Rogers' bell stops ringing in time for Lords Cardiff, Voges loses his spot to keep Darsh in the 6 because Anderson hates bowling to lefties. #swampyprivilege

He was a total workhorse his entire career before the 13/14 summer, same pace all day. Pretty significant admission from him in terms of where he sees his body being at. It concerned me to hear it. Once you adjust your training and playing loads, you're putting your body through something different, so the result will be different. I worry that ageism claims a lot of players before their time with this sort of thing.
In fairness, he's what, 33, 34?

Thing about MJ throttling back to get through more overs is that exposes Watsons place. He is there to help the bowling load so MJ can go full throttle. If that isn't happening then one or both of their positions become questionable.

Ooh, that's loose. Did all the hard work too...

Still, he'll be better for the hit (which frankly is all this is)

"That was very, very interesting captaincy, Michael. Save your hamstring." Gunner Gould to @MClarke23. Unsure of the context, sadly. #WIvAUS
