Just gutted!!!.. we had that match in our hands after a great fight back from the tail but i guess nerves got the better of Roach, need to make some changes to the batting for the next match, Barath for Powell and maybe Deonarine for Samuels because although Marlon is bowling ok his batting has been terrible, not sure Darren should be playing either because this format has never been his forte.

I want to see how the Aussies handle it if we let them chase for a change, because if we set a good score then i can't see them coping too well with our attack, especially if they are under pressure to keep up with the run rate.

watson seems to be from the ponting school of captaincy. just terrible
People make up so much bull**** about captaincy sometimes its just annoying. Yeah sure ignore the fact that its a team effort that wins and loses you matches but no blame everything on the captain.

Let me guess if Australia had pulled off a win there Watson would have been a genius captain and if they lost he is a terrible captain. I really look forward to an explanation as to how his captaincy would have single handedly change the game there.

Chokes like that from the West Indies absolutely disgust me. It's beyond stupid.

As if Roach and Sammy didn't have a chat after the boundary and decide when they'd run and when they would not.

Reminds me of the ODI vs SA where Langveldt got a hattrick in the last over and they lost by a run - that was far worse though.

I guess the nerves got the best of him? That's just human.

Not that my own poor level of cricket is a standard in whatever way, but I've once come in at eleven, needing 35 runs. I freely swung the bat, until we needed 3 runs and suddenly started to wonder what to do......., just to get out in a really stupid way (run out).

Has Chanderpaul actually retired from ODIs now or has he just not been picked for this series? You have to plan for the future obviously, but it seems crazy not to have him in a team already missing Gayle and Sarwan.

No domestic List A matches this season, I notice.
They told him they'd not pick him again hence why he made disparaging comments about them and he wasn't going to be picked.

Forrest and Hilfenhaus in for Christian and Lyon.

I notice West Indies are paying $2.76 while Australia are $1.44 - juicy odds for the Windies, given the way they've played in the past two matches.
