Batting at 5 gives Chanderpaul time to pad up and have a drink.Chanderpaul should be batting 3 or 4, what's the point of him batting with that useless Deonarine and Baugh all the time?
Yessss, onya Burgey, we're bringing it back.
Sure. But what were the scores by others in those games? I don't know if there bulk tons scored or not, but it's fair comment to say big scores have been hard to come by in this series for everyone, isn't it?"If you're just judging people's form by looking at the scorecard, then you're not doing the game full justice."
Surely this goes both ways? I mean, if memory serves, of the 4 tons that got him in the test team, 2 were in the 2nd innings of a match Tassie already had big leads in, one was on Alan Border Oval and the other was a very loose warm up match against India on Manuka Oval.

I really don't care either way if he stays or goes ftr. But yeah I really didn't like the presser so I'm calling him up on some stuff. I hope he realises the error he made when he reads these messages.Spikey hates Ed Cowan.

Man thats a lot of hate. Cowan is probably more aware of how lucky he is to be in the team than you would be. If you think about what he said his position is that any hundred he has scored is probably matched by a thirty on this pitch.I just hate it when cricketers use "oh but but but but" line when chances are they've benefited the other way, and said nothing of it. In this case, Cowan was very lucky to get picked in the Aus A game. Looking at the full picture, many would have said "29-30yo journeyman with average history, had a **** start to the season, scored some gimmie runs in the 2nd innings in hardly the most trying of conditions. Pass." Of course, that didn't happen and well. Don't whinge when you get into a form slump m8.

Harsh, because I totally agree with what he is saying having watched the majority of play throughout the entire series. The conditions have been difficult!I just hate it when cricketers use "oh but but but but" line when chances are they've benefited the other way, and said nothing of it. Yeah I agree. It's much more than just taking his poor scores on face value. A fair few of his dismissals haven't been much to do with the bowling or conditons, just poor batting.I really don't care either way if he stays or goes ftr.
