I agree with your point to an extent. Doherty has bowled a few peaches in this game though and his ball to dismiss Tharanga was a decent nut tbf.

Brett Lee is a one man over rate wrecker.

Yeah, he's even shortened his run up but the time problem still remains.

Lee's looked very ordinary today. I don't think Lee has even touched the 140 speed range yet and we all know Lee can very pedestrian without pace.

This partnership could make a massive difference in the end, can't help but think we have already somewhat have allowed Sri Lanka to get back into the game but if they manage to muster another 50-60 runs here then batting second we would have a real struggle on our hands.
