The theory was a good one tbf. Pace off the ball and throw some catching men in front, but you wouldn't expect that to work in 20 overs with Mussey, let alone 1.

If it's going to work, it works in the first over usually. It's a shock tactic that exploits the batsman not being used to the part-timer. If it doesn't work straight away, the bowler gets taken off after a couple overs tops.
