they should just slog it now. since its turning wildly they aint gonna last long(not more than 2hrs) anyway. stay in the crease and just slog the odd ball.

Been a few absolute crackers from Vandersay so far

Been around for a while, and has had the standard legspinners tendency of sometimes bowling absolute hot garbage, but having seen him do this a couple of times over the years it does seem a little odd he has only been such a sporadic presence for Sri Lanka across formats

I can imagine there will be comments across the internet soon about how we should have picked leg spinner. Vandersay is better than any of our current lot, even considering the conditions, and was still a bit of a left field pick.

Also one of his middle names is Dexter, another sign he's probably better than ours.

Happy to be wrong twice this test so far. I thought Khawaja at 38 was past it and I thought Head opening was a mistake (although maybe Konstas might have done as well as ball wasn't spinning and Head was out lbw not reviewed).
