Donald and Schultz FTW. Reckon Parnell has more aggro than Wasim. Hopefully this pair will last longer!Looks like SA will be the same new ball combination. Awesome.
Although it's still unproven, it reminds me of the Waqar/Akram pair with Waqar right-arm swinging it away at pace and Akram left-arm swinging it both ways at 140km/h.
Yeah, posted on that a couple of days ago:What's the record at Cape Town regarding chasing under lights? I'd heard it's near impossible to chase here, is this true?
18 of the 21 day-nighters here between two test sides have been won by the side batting first, including the last 11 on the trot.
Wait for the toss, and there's another opportunity for a very solid bet.
I pretty much always back both sides at varying odds to eliminate risk. In the course of a 50 over game (or even a 20 over game) between 2 evenly matched sides it's pretty rare that one team is the favourite throughout. This is why the IPL is a gold mine. You can usually tell when there's a walkover on the cards. Basically betfair makes this very easy to do and I prefer to win smaller consistently than to win big and lose big.Risky. I'm just going to lump on the toss-winners in the half-hour before the match. Hopefully it'll be Australia again because South Africa are favourites.
I do use hedging sometimes. Generally it's too much effort to do as you say, but it is a pretty good tactic sometimes because for whatever reason bookmakers are prone to knee-jerk reactions on live betting. The problem is that you give the bookies' more and more margin the more you bet.I pretty much always back both sides at varying odds to eliminate risk. That's why I use betfair, you're betting against other people rather than bookies. The odds tend to be good against the favourite because lot's of idiots load up each time a wicket falls (as you said knee-kerk reaction). I see what you mean about the margin, but the effect doesn't seem big enough to deter me right now. I should really start laying instead to eliminate the problem a bit, I wish I had a database that kept track of odds during matches and the amount of cash matched. I'm sure some patterns would emerge.I do use hedging sometimes. No I just said I use Betfair.Do yo use bet365??
There's not actually much difference between betting on betfair and betting anywhere else, because other bookies set their odds based on how much money they get and their margins are pretty much the same because Betfair shave your winnings. It's good to use both though because the odds between them can vary pretty dramatically. That's why I use betfair, you're betting against other people rather than bookies. Thanks, I'll definitely have to look into that, my friend actually did his dissertation on why betfair's a bit of a scam, but I never bothered reading it...There's not actually much difference between betting on betfair and betting anywhere else, because other bookies set their odds based on how much money they get and their margins are pretty much the same because Betfair shave your winnings. Online betting is banned in USANo I just said I use Betfair.
Gibbs was gone first ball there.
