Whoever he is he may have a point in that Clarke is in no way shape or form an opener. They'd be better off with Mussey at the top and Clarke down the order where he was actually good.

I don't see why Smith doesn't bring Steyn and Parnell back on and try to finish things off. These two may struggle to play out 9 overs from them.

Fantastic bowling by Parnell in particular, but the track looks really two-paced. Most just aren't coming on to the bat and others are jagging up.

If Fergie and friends can bat the 50, we're still a chance for sure. Though it's asking a lot from them.

Bracken 50 and then 5+ wickets imo.

EDIT: We really do have a fantastic tail for mine. Game on.

I don't really understand why Hopes doesn't open. He opens domestically, and Clarke has a better record down the order.

I don't think Clarke will be dropped yet, but he has had a very poor last 12 months. And he doesn't seem to be bowling at the moment which is one less plus for him.

from close games in Aus to boilovers in SA  hopefully we can get to 150 and attempt to make a game of it.

Wicket looks 250 min for mine, so anything under 200 and South Africa should walk it.

van der Merwe causing Johnson a few problems. Just stuck Ferguson on his ass as well.

In theory SA's batting is deeper today without Ntini and Mr Erratic who can't handle a bat at all, so that should make it easier to chase down a total, even if the pitch is playing tricks.
