Anyhow, great to see Clarke rip open the Saffies for the entire series when most if not all thought he wasn't test class. Interesting Roebuck seems him as an integral part of our attempt to regain the urn. How things change!

Yes one gets the feeling that is his personal opinion. Far cry from claiming that Aussies have said all batsmen should adopt it as of now, which is what you said they did. Calling Aussies hypocrites is not a big deal tho eh, Howard. Something tells me ur not a fan of the Aus cricket team. Indian descent perhaps?

 Really.

I'd just assume an Aussie cricket fan wouldn't jump to (wrong) conclusions attacking the credibility of his team, from a few very innocuous quotes. Maybe you are bending over backwards to prove your unbiased. Point is, you were wrong and are too gutless to admit it.

BARNES OUT
A) Stuart Clark. It's pretty simple.

B) The Australian Cricket team has to be one of the most hypocritical sporting sides in world history, and it's common knowledge.

What? They are hypocritical on this point. Langer, Ponting, Hayden have all stood their ground in the past. And then Gilly says that other teams, when their batsmen stand their ground, should leave it between the players. That is hypocrisy. But, as I say, it's not world's most important issue. It's only cricket. And certainly it's not worth getting all fired up about, and trying to get the upper hand (as you are).

Is this kinda racial profiling commonplace in your country ?
Indians seem to be the most racist and anti Aus pple around, for eg, YOU. YOU are always around like the bleedin flash whenever its time to criticise Australia. Pot and Kettle.

There is more than enough evidence to claim that about C_C. Pretty disappointed with that, but you can't change people. I think I know what parttimer is saying. You're saying, correct me if i'm wrong, that the Aussies gave everyone a chance be uniform and agree to accepting the fielder's word. But since, none did so, and hence neither did the Australians. I don't see anything hypocritical about it. Gilchrist is just stating that he wished it had been agreed to, and didn't like the way it currently is.

Absolute rubbish.
Generalising like that is pure idiocy.

The hypocritical aspect of it becomes evident when little historical knowledge is applied. Healey claimed a catch on the bounce blatently ( off Lara). Gillchrist implored Dravid to walk in 2004 trip to OZ despite his bat being nowhere close to the ball. Langer displayed one of the most blatant act of cheating by breaking the stumps (from fwd. short leg) with his bare hands, the ball being nowhere CLOSE to him and appealing.....as such, the OZ players offering the chance to agree to accepting the fielder's word is similar to crocodile tears.

Australia is not a race. I dont like the OZ team because of their 'win at all costs' attitude, sledging, etc.. Its just that bloody simple
.
PS: Rather ironically, the concept of 'race' doesnt exist in bulk of India and most of what exists in terms of 'race' came with the european attitudes of the 1500s and 1600s. I know you see the world from your prism, but try getting around more.

I love sweeping generalisations like that, purely because they are unfounded, inflammatory and I can't see any point of them except to be insulting.

And thus, cut them out or action will be taken. Any more talk of racism which is off-topic will not be viewed in an entirely pleasant light.

And that goes for everyone.
