There's tons better when maxwell is in the squad, 5 genuine bowlers+maxwell bowling is enough, and people like Wells are much better middle order finishers then marsh. Labuschagne may not be in T20 form but he's a proven player and an extra spin option is just as good as marsh's bowling and is basically guaranteed to be a much better batsmen.

the wicket is genuinely ****ed, it's near impossible to reach the boundary when the ball is soft and old. Go watch the 6 that Carey hit before he for dismissed, in any other pitch that goes halfway into the stands, and it struggled to go past the boundary.

Wanted to see the back end batting of Australia before I was too critical of Miller for example. It definitely looked tougher to hit away to the boundary last 5 overs of both innings.

It might be a tricky pitch but you still should not lose a match when you require 32 runs off 24 balls with 7 wickets in hand

It would have helped had they gotten the bloke on 50+ on strike at all. He must have faced 2 balls an over for the last five overs.

Yeah middle order don't know how to rotate strike, the fact that marsh and Warner didn't run after marsh clearly top edged a ball and left wade on strike for the last ball of an over to take a single for strike and make the new batsmen have to find the boundary needing 10 an over was particularly irritating.

Its juz so good that T20 is such a short game and a small error can cost you so much. Makes teams so much more even and resuts like this possible.

Port Eliziabeth is almost aalways pretty slow by South African standards really

That's part of the reason why I was an Anrich Nortje fan long before his international dayboo, done plenty of good work domestically there. Like genuine fast bowlers who thrive on decks not suited to them
