the wicket is genuinely ****ed, it's near impossible to reach the boundary when the ball is soft and old. Go watch the 6 that Carey hit before he for dismissed, in any other pitch that goes halfway into the stands, and it struggled to go past the boundary.Awful chase. It's a T20 guys, try and hit some boundaries.
It would have helped had they gotten the bloke on 50+ on strike at all. He must have faced 2 balls an over for the last five overs.the wicket is genuinely ****ed, it's near impossible to reach the boundary when the ball is soft and old. Yeah middle order don't know how to rotate strike, the fact that marsh and Warner didn't run after marsh clearly top edged a ball and left wade on strike for the last ball of an over to take a single for strike and make the new batsmen have to find the boundary needing 10 an over was particularly irritating. It would have helped had they gotten the bloke on 50+ on strike at all. Port Eliziabeth is almost aalways pretty slow by South African standards reallyI don't mind the odd slow pitch. Good to change things up tbh.
Yeah this has been one of the few things I always remember about cricket in South Africa. Aus' toughest games at the 2003 World Cup were low scoring grinds at PEPort Eliziabeth is almost aalways pretty slow by South African standards really
Lost count of the amount of times Pollock says; "He has a Test match 100 in him". Pollock scored two Test 100s and he was a proper player!Rabada = best batsman to average nothing with the bat.
