***Official*** Australia in South Africa 2018

Bolo

State Captain
During the lunch break they've been showing that Durban test match win by SA against the great Australian side. We were basically 5-0 down. Hansie gate had happened and we had lost captain Pollock and Donald to injuries.

I remember feeling SA should have won the 2nd test going into this one

3rd Test, Australia tour of South Africa at Durban, Mar 15-18 2002 | Match Summary | ESPNCricinfo
That RSA bowling attack is dire. Ntini was junk at that stage, Hall was not a test bowler, Adams was junk by that stage, and Terbrugge was an unknown, but was was clearly not going to be a top bowler. The only bowler of proven quality was Kallis. Dead rubber or not it's amazing that RSA won against that AUS lineup, even without the massive deficit.

Philander has bowled well to his limitations on this wicket but in terms of wicket taking threat Kesh & KG been our go to guys.

Not that it matters much at this stage but keeping the target to 400 would be a minor victory for the Proteas.

South Africa must bat like they have nothing to lose. Amla needs to step up and Markram needs to stop playing silly shots when already set.

Just saw the highlights. Khawaja there trying to pull a fast one and Elgar making Smith his bunny.

I wonder if they'll give up when they get within 10 runs of that target too.
