Then he puts together the sort of innings Australia's middle order line-up looks for and needs. Innings of real substance.

The problem for Australia is the next two senior players in him and Khawaja have no real flow of consistency and with Warner/Smith banned there may be some who think there is a catch 22 with their selection moving forward.
