Yeah DRS doesn't care where the individual pads are at all.Not really sure Holding is correct that DRS assumed it hit Warner on the front pad; it just looked like that with the front pad treated as invisible so you could see where the ball was at impact.
Well it kind of does. Impact is a thing in lbws.Yeah DRS doesn't care where the individual pads are at all.
Oh yeah but what I mean that there's no "which pad did it hit" variable in the system, all it cares about is that it hit something.Well it kind of does. Impact is a thing in lbws.
Predictive ball tracking obviously doesn't care though.
When Philander is getting bounce (even slowish bounce), the chances of it looking slow when Rabada bowls are basically zero. Just confirms that Morkel was a bit off-rhythm when he bowled though.Pitch looks a lot less slow with Rabada bowling....
Possibly trying too hard after the announcement, not relaxing and doing it naturally. Bound to feel different for him.Just confirms that Morkel was a bit off-rhythm when he bowled though.
Coastal wickets are traditionally slower.I'm a bit surprised that South Africa wanted slower wickets. Australia have been preparing for slow wickets for ages at the MCG and Sydney and this year at the Gabba.
He actually hasn't been as good in Australia against you guys (only that hundred in Adelaide where Clarke got that double and treated the SA attack like net bowlers), but he's dominated in SA so far in his career. Really can't think of another opener who's done similar.Yeah Warner is one of those players who scores runs against us but not as good vs England.
Our most successful bowlers vs him
