From a pure fans perspective I've throughly enjoyed every Test match in this series. But I absolutely hate how the drama has eclipsed the great cricket. I'm sure Australia aren't going to roll over. They shouldn't, suddenly there are three spots open in the batting order and the bowlers who apparently hated being implicated should have a point to prove.

Point will be pretty moot if the ball doesn't venture off straight though :D

The Aussies will be mentally rattled to be that good I feel. There have been reports that the players want to ditch the 4th test and go home.

Although I must admit, the side is eminently more likeable straight away with no Warner in it. I'm not sure I wish them ill anymore.

The spine's ripped out of the Aussie batting. Where's the fight coming from before a hostile bullring? Khawaja and Marsh?

Take out the two openers from that list and things look pretty grim for the Aussies. Smith was having a poor series but you'd have backed him to grind out some sort of score in the last Test. Who knows though.. the new guys might come in and play a blinder.

Barmy army has a new song. SA fans need to get practicing for wanderers:

“Steve Smith is an Aussie

He wears a baggy cap

And when he saw some sticky tape

He said I’m having that...

He gave it Cameron Bancroft

Who rubbed it on the ball

Those cheating Aussie convicts

They’ll never change at all!

Oh...Davie Warner’s Aussie

He wears the baggy green

He dribbles like a caveman

His behaviour’s obscene

He’s rather fond of Candy

She gives him such a thrill

But when he offers her de Kock

She begs for Sonny Bill!”

I am not going to lie, I love a controversy. They are a good way to kill time outside the game but this has runs its course way past tedious.

The beauty of matches between these two sides over the last decade is you can never pick a winner. no matter what the teamsheet looks like, or how great the difference between the two has seemed on the field in previous games, there is always a surprise.

The odds look pretty damn long on this one though.
They are in a significantly worse place now but last time Australia were humiliated at Cape Town they did this.

I'm going to root for Australia.
It's going to feel strange; actually never done that earlier except when they tour England.

That's a toss song.

Aus to win, Starc will blow them away and Tim Paine will score runs despite being an ordinary at best player.
