Oh man I love test cricket.
That's the problem; Warner's not playing a Test. Smacking Rabada around for a few balls does absolutely nothing for his team's chances in this game or the series, barely dents Rabada and doesn't punish SA at all. Terrible test cricket.

Disagree. South Africa, once we get smacked around a bit, tend to go into shellshock. Warner did it to us on his debut tour... It wouldn't have taken much more before our fields were back and our heads were down.

But the battle within the battle test series create. Macho man v Macho man. Someone had to not think right or someone had to bounce back and show their hand.

That's the build up of emotions right there. And I don't know who just lost their load.

I don't see the debate. Rabada absolutely wins that round, having won all the rest of them too.

The point is what happened, not what might have happened. Sure, had he kept it going, that's great. If he peeled off a ton striking at 100+, yes he wins. He didn't and now SA are right back in. It's **** cricket.

Yeah Rabada won, but it's not like Warner was out trying to slog. Was a genuinely good delivery. Would have probably got him if he had been playing regular test cricket too.

Tbf Warner seems to have an issue with that angle, bat came across and left a juicy gap just like Rabada got him last match.

Exactly.

Most bowlers try and bowl across left-handers to get them knicking-off but Warner plays so well when he gets to move his arms and hands away from his body.

We can blame Warner's Bravado (but that is what makes him good) but not the quality of Rabada or lack of effort from Warner.
